UESL x SDFC EAFC25 2024 Tournament

We’re still on cloud nine after this past Saturday’s big event! What an incredible day it was for the Unified Esports League community of gamers, family, and supporters!

On October 19th, we partnered with San Diego FC (SDFC) to host an unforgettable esports tournament at 18 Threads in Mission Valley, where UESL gamers and SDFC’s esports gamers competed in EAFC25. The event was a remarkable success, showcasing not only the power of gaming but also the strength of unity, inclusion, and competition.

For our UESL gamers—all whom are part of the IDD community—this event was a dream come true. They had the rare opportunity to compete alongside neurotypical players in front of a live audience, with San Diego FC and Major League Soccer fans cheering them on. The energy in the room was electric, as participants poured their heart and skill into every match, creating an atmosphere of excitement, camaraderie, and shared passion for gaming.

This partnership with San Diego FC exceeded all of our expectations. SDFC has shown what it means to be a leader in both sports and esports, embracing inclusivity and supporting individuals of all abilities. By standing alongside UESL, they helped create a space where our gamers could shine on a major stage, building confidence and community while highlighting the power of collaboration.

We are incredibly grateful to San Diego FC for their generosity, support, and belief in our mission. This event marked a huge milestone for UESL, and it would not have been possible without their partnership. Together, we broke down barriers, proving that esports is a platform where everyone can compete and thrive.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with San Diego FC and this flagship event that recognizes and gives the people that we work with a platform to grow and make progress towards their potential. So many of our clients are so incredibly skilled and passionate about video games and technology. This passion being recognized in front of SDFC fans and their friends and family helps our clients to grow in a way that is incredibly powerful. To be able to bring our clients and their families into such an iconic setting in this partnership is something that we will all remember forever.

Unified Esports League would like to extend a huge thank you to SDFC for stepping up to help us include more people the community that we work with. This event is a symbol for the power of the community here in San Diego and an incredible opportunity for those we work with to grow and achieve their full potential through the things they love and are passionate about.
